Tutoring

I am currently looking to fill a time spot on Monday and Thursday 5-6pm!

I actually love school! Tutoring is so much more to me than just making money. I wasn't naturally good at school. I had a hard time in math and a hard time reading. It wasn't until fourth grade that I really felt confident in school. I was put into fifth grade math and I started loving school. To this day I still love school, and a lot of that has to do with how I learned push myself and, not rely on my parents too. I was the one who did research and decided to take the ACT in seventh grade, and my parents supported me! I believe the most important skill for a kid to learn is how to push themselves and work for what they want! I want to help kids learn to find love in school. I want to help them sucseed and get ahead. I had to work to get to where I am, and I want to help others get there! I have free resources on my tools page you should check out which are only a few of the tools I use to tutor! Enjoying school is just one pice of the puzzle though. I believe that consistency, practice, and homework are all important factors. I always start by giving a general pre-test to see where they are. Knowing the base line of what your kid is so important! Then after a month or so, I give the test again to see how far they have come with different questions. The best part about tutoring is how personalized it is! I am here to get to know your child and help them grow in their education, to help them get ahead as well!
